• Supraglottis: Same as for Stage III supraglottis.
• Glottis: Same as for Stage III glottic cancer.
• Subglottis: Same as Stage III subglottic tumors.

Recurrent Cancer Treatment includes further surgery or investigational protocols. If patients were treated initially with surgery alone or radiotherapy alone, further surgery and/or radiotherapy may be used. Some patients may respond to chemotherapy .Patients whose tumors recur after both radiotherapy and surgery are candidates for investigational palliative chemotherapy.
Supportive Therapy Patients who have had their voice box (larynx) removed need supportive treatment to help them to learn to speak again. There are three methods.
• One involves the use of an esophageal voice, where a patient is taught to swallow air and bring it back up and
